A: Your stomach will not grow as your diet will change upon the instructions of our dieticians and you will begin to eat less but substantially. The growth of stomach is not experienced if these rules are followed.
Q: When can I be discharged?
A: It varies between 1 – 3 days, depending on the person.
Q Can my stomach be restored after the gastric sleeve operation?
A: No, you will have a small stomach as a good part of your overgrown stomach is removed. The excess part that has been removed cannot be restored.
Q: What about the post-operation period?
A: Once you are discharged, you body will take some time to adapt itself to your new stomach. Liquid regimen and vitamin supplements are usually recommended in this period. It is acceptable to begin to eat dry foods in about 2 week later. Approximately 45 minutes is recommended between liquid intake and dry food intake in the early period.
